The KS2 curriculum recognises that children deserve the opportunity to develop a love and interest in learning languages.

Learning a language from an early age is hugely beneficial in the transition to secondary school and the gaining in confidence, interest and skills.

At Vamos, we aim to ensure all children:

– Understand phonology, grammar and vocabulary, taught through themes familiar to them
– Develop curiosity and deepen their understanding of the world and their role as a global citizen
– Regardless of their background and ability can reach their full potential in Spanish, speaking, listening, reading and writing
– Learn Spanish within the context of Hispanic countries and cultures
