Working with secondary school students from a wide range of educational backgrounds has given me valuable insight into what learners need to succeed. I was delighted to lead the team responsible for creating the Young Learner course materials at Vamos.

Our objective was to develop resources that reflected the real needs of students while aligning closely with the AQA and Edexcel examination boards.

As project leader, I quickly realised we needed to create our own materials that reflected the Vamos teaching methodology and learning experience. Our books combine the four language skills with a communicative approach, helping students build confidence while making learning engaging and enjoyable.

Since the project began, we’ve worked with a team of highly experienced teachers whose combined expertise has helped shape the curriculum and create resources we’re genuinely proud of.
