Every Vamos for Schools homework activity is connected to what students are learning in their course. With ¡Vamos! Assistant, that practice becomes responsive.
Teachers choose the skill they want students to practise — Reading, Writing, Listening or Speaking — and the learning focus. They can also choose a particular activity, or leave ¡Vamos! Assistant to select and adapt the practice for the learner.
Practice that responds
Students begin by completing their interactive homework, giving them structured practice based on what they have learned in their lesson.
Once they have submitted their answers, ¡Vamos! Assistant responds accordingly.
If a student is struggling, it can offer a clue, simplify the next step or provide more support. If they are succeeding, it can step back, increase the challenge and encourage greater independence.
Practice isn’t limited to the keyboard. Students can listen and respond in Spanish, practise pronunciation and have spoken conversations with ¡Vamos! Assistant — giving them a safe, supportive way to build confidence speaking Spanish as well as writing it.
The result is practice that stays connected to the lesson while adapting to the learner.
Building towards assessment
Reinforcing the skills students need for future assessment.
Younger learners begin with supported activities that build understanding, confidence and independence. As their knowledge develops, the practice becomes progressively more demanding.
Each Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking activity is aligned with the skills and task types students encounter in International GCSE Spanish, creating a natural progression from earlier learning towards assessment.
That means students can develop the underlying skills from an early stage, before increasingly applying them in assessment-relevant ways as they progress through Years 10 and 11.

Each homework activity includes two attempts, with compulsory ¡Vamos! Assistant practice in between.
The teacher remains in control
Teachers decide what students should practise.
¡Vamos! Assistant then decides how best to deliver that practice, adapting the level of support and challenge to the individual learner.
Teachers can also add more than one AI practice when they want students to work on different skills or learning focuses.
