Now they can enjoy revising Spanish with our all year booster courses.
They’re fun and dynamic and aligned to the school curriculum, but with lots of speaking including games and role play in groups and pairs.
Build their confidence as we review grammar and vocabulary while having fun practising speaking with their teacher and each other.
Year 10
- Talk about daily routines using the present tense regular and irregular verbs
- Using time and frequency to ask classmates about activities during the week and weekend
- Talk about family and friends; describe their appearance and personality and the relationship we have with them
- Using the preterite tense we can talk about holidays and things we have done in the past
- Talk about our house and the different rooms as well as our neighbourhood and our city/town
- Talk about social media and speak about the advantages and disadvantages of using it
- Talk about food, our likes, our diet and also a conversation in a restaurant
- Use the future tense to speak about plans and holidays
- Talk about different festivals in the Hispanic world
Year 11
- Talk about the environmental and social problems with classmates
- Talk about studies at school and about future plans when we finish school
- Talk about future career, ambitions, work for young people and different professions
- Answer basic questions in a job interview
- Talk about some of the main problems affecting young people in our society
- Using the Past Tenses (Indefinido, Perfecto & Imperfecto) to talk about different events, habits or experiences
- Talk about different places we have been to on holiday and how to book a room in a hotel
Year 12
- Discuss the culture of different Hispanic countries including art and literature
- Speak about cyberspace and the influence in current society
- Use the present and perfect subjunctive tense to express doubt, wishes, and emotions
- Speak about past events
- Speak about influential people and their purpose in society
- Use connectives and idiomatic expressions to enhance our conversation style
- Talk about diversity and inclusion and human rights
